Active India Holidays did a fantastic job organizing and guiding our 8-day trip through the Golden triangle. Ravi was extremely helpful as we planned our itinerary and accommodations, promptly responding to questions. From the moment we were greeted at the airport in Delhi, the rest of the team made sure we were comfortable and any concerns were addressed. Our driver was with us for the entire trip from beginning to end. He was amazing at navigating the chaos of the roads. We always felt safe as we dodged the cows, dogs, monkeys, motorcycles and horse drawn carts we encountered. The local guides in in each city were friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about sharing the history and culture of the area. While we certainly enjoyed touring the Taj Mahal and the awesome forts and palaces in Rajasthan, what we like most was being brought to temples and markets, where we could experience firsthand the daily lives of the local residents. I recommend staying at one or more Heritage hotels. They provide a peaceful, much needed retreat from the chaos and hubbub of the streets. Five stars for Active India Holidays for their expertise in putting together such a memorable trip.

Active India Holidays prepared a tremendous trip for us to India. We visited both Kanha and Pench National Parks. The accommodations in each were terrific! Guides and drivers were all excellent. I would trust Active India Holidays with my trips in the future.

My husband and I travelled with another couple for 20 days to 8 cities, only one of the four of us had been to India. Mandeep from Active India was engaged and responsive and proactive from the start of the planning process through to the end of our trip. He took every single one of our requests to heart and adjusted and readjusted our itinerary accordingly with great suggestions and explanations. Communication was top notch. Packing list was on point. The 4 night Dharmsala trek was the highlight, we enjoyed the pre and post nights in McLeod Gang and our guide for that week was the best, entire crew was great. Food was plentiful and delicious (3 hot meals a day) and pace was perfect. We also loved our tour of Amritsar and lots of time spent there at the Golden Temple. We also explored Delhi, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kumbhalgarh, Udaipur and then Kolkata. Some of the city guides were top notch, others were okay. 6/8 of the hotels we stayed in were heritage and jaw droppingly impressive. We were so well taken care off! A WhatsApp group was arranged so we could reach out to Active India anytime there was an issue. Someone delivered us to and met us at every train station and airport. The vans arranged for us were super comfortable. Rides were peaceful and pleasant, though communications with drivers were sometimes challenging. We wanted to use as few plastic bottles as possible so Active India arranged for a huge container of filtered water for us to refill our bottles, and most hotels had glass bottles of filtered water. We found/arranged most meals ourselves, couldn’t go wrong there!

Great three weeks had by the organization of Active India Holidays. Traveling with 21 students and 4 teachers may be a challenge. But because of the guide and most likely the help of the office, this trip has been a great success. Activities matched the needs of the group and everything was arranged to perfection. We are a family of four with two young children and had a truly fantastic holiday in India thanks to Active India Holidays. From start to finish, the organization of the tour was excellent. They suggested a wonderful travel route, provided great drivers and knowledgeable guides, and carefully tailored the holiday to meet all our requirements. Everything was handled with efficiency and professionalism, and we always felt in safe and trustworthy hands. It was such an amazing trip. Ketan was an amazing tourguide. He was funny knew everything about the places we we’re, knew when the group wanted to do something else en could change his planning easily. And great dancing skills!! Thank you Ketan.

It was a very unique experience in India. The culture here is so different from my own. I'll never forget this. Our guide was also the best.

The guide was amazing, he knew every small detail about the history of the places where we went to. He was also always happy and full of energy. But he could also be a friend instead of a guide when you needed to talk to someone and I think that he has a really good personality and that he always should work as a guide. He made the trip so much better! Thank you!
