Day 1 - Arrive in Delhi. Arrive at the international airport of Delhi at night and receive assistance from a representative from the local office to board the early morning flight to Leh. Overnight No Hotel

Day 2 - Delhi – Leh (3500m). Enjoy the scenery while flying from Delhi to Leh. In the afternoon there will be a gentle orientation walk of Leh and its bazaars. Overnight Hotel

Day 3 - Shankar Gompa – Shanti Stupa – Leh Palace – Leh In the local sight-seeing programme of Leh, visit Shankar Gompa – a subsidiary of Spituk Gompa, Shanti Stupa (the Buddhist Dome Structure) and the Leh Palace situated on the Namgyal Hill. Overnight Hotel

Day 4 - Free Day in Leh (Optional excursion to Khardung La; 5360m) Today is a free day with an option to go to Khardung La to experience world’s highest motorable road and the abundant natural beauty around. Overnight Hotel

Day 5 - Leh – Chilling – Skiu (3350m;3-4 hrs). This morning, transfer to Chilling, a small village renowned for its black smiths and craftsmen who work with metals like copper, tin and silver to make ladles, Chhang pots and tea pots etc. This is the starting point of the trek. Cross Zanskar river by rope trolley and trek to Skiu. Overnight Camp

Day 6 - Skiu – Markha (3750m;7-5 hrs). Trek along the valley from Skiu to Markha appreciating the natural scenery around. Follow the river all day to the camp. Overnight Camp

Day 7 - Local Exploration of Markha Valley. Free day in the village of Markha that can be spent doing a day-trek into the surrounding area and visiting the Markha Village and the small monastery. Overnight Camp

Day 8 - Markha – Hankar – Thachungtse (4300m;6-7hrs). Trek from Markha to Thachungtse, visiting Umlung Gompa en route. Continuing up the valley walk through Umlung Village and Hankar to Thachungtse. Overnight Camp

Day 9 - Thachungtse – Nimaling (4850 m;5-6 hrs). It is a short walk to Nimaling. Views of Kang Yangtse, at 6,400m are extraordinary. Evening optional walk is highly recommended for the impressive close up views of Kang Yangste. Overnight Camp

Day 10 - Nimaling: Rest or Exploration. Today is the day for rest and further acclimatization. Optional walk towards Kang Yatze, to a high point (5500 m) is highly recommended for this purpose. Overnight Camp

Day 11 - Nimaling – Kongmaru La (5135m) – Shang Sumdo (3810 m ;6-7 hrs) Start the day with an initial climb to Kongmaru La at 5,286m. From there continue descent to Shang Sumdo through a long gorge along the stream. Overnight Camp

Day 12 - Shang – Hemis – Leh. From Shang Sumdo drive to Hemis Monastery, once the largest and the richest of Ladakh monasteries. Visit the monastery and drive to Leh. Rest of the day free. Overnight Hotel

Day 13 - Rest Day in Leh. Today is a free day in Leh to provide an opportunity to further explore this amazing region. Overnight Hotel

Day 14 - Leh – Delhi (By Flight) – Agra (220 kms-4 hrs). Early morning transfer to Leh airport for flight to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, drive straight to Agra. Evening is free to explore the city. Overnight Hotel

Day 15 - Agra – Delhi & Departure Transfer. In the sight-seeing programme of Agra visit Taj Mahal and Red Fort. Later, drive to Delhi and late in the evening transfer to the international airport to catch respective flights.
