Day 1 - Arrive in Delhi, the national capital of India, the city which is as historic as modern. After clearing immigration and customs formalities; proceed towards the arrival hall, where you will be greeted by our office representative. He will assist you to the vehicle and will take you to the Delhi Hotel. There are no activities planned for the first day, so simply relax at the Hotel and recover your energy levels or depending upon your flight schedules we can plan some. Stay Overnight in Delhi.

Day 2 - An early flight for Leh and upon arrival we provide you the transfer to hotel. Rest of the day is free to acclimatisation. Early evening leave for a gentle walk around Leh and its lively bazaars. Overnight stay in Hotel.

Day 3 - Today after breakfast leave for full day sightseeing visit Shey, Thiksey, Matho & Hemis monasteries. Overnight stay in Hotel

Day 4 - This morning after breakfast leave for Leh exploration visiting Sankar Gompa, Shanti Stupa and Leh Palce . afternoon is free or optional trip to Khardung La at 5,603m the highest motorable road in the world. Overnight stay in Hotel

Day 5 - Today morning drive to Chilling following Indus and Zanskar rivers. Chilling village is well known in Ladakh and Zanskar for the skill of its silversmiths and also the entry point for Markha Valley trek. Overnight stay in Camp ( 66 Kms / 2 ½ hrs drive)

Day 6 - This morning meet your pony man and ponies before you start your first day trek. Today in the beginning we cross Zanskar river by a concrete bridge and later the trail ascents a bit and passes through some the chortens before you reach to Siku camp site. Day 7 - A fairly long but easy walk to Markha village following the Markha River. The terrain is not so demanding, and therefore, there are lots of opportunities to admire the magnificent scenery around. Overnight stay in Camp. (Walking 7-8 hrs)

Day 8 - Today the trek goes just beyond Markha and meets the Chacham Valley where there is the Umlung Gompa on the cliff face. Visit this monastery and then walk uphill to Hankar village and continue to Thachungtse. Overnight stay in Camp ( Walking 6-7 hrs)

Day 9 - Today is a short walk to Nimaling. The trail climbs steeply to the plateau where the valley opens out and sees the spectacular views of Kang Yangtse peak 6,400m - the highest peak in the valley. Walk on the green pastures and enjoy the fabulous views around. Overnight stay in Camp. (Walking 3-4 hrs)

Day 10 - Today morning is at leisure and after late breakfast you have a chance to walk to High Point to have a close view of Kang Yatse (6400 m). Overnight stay in Camp

Day 11 - Today the trek ascents gradually toward the Kongmaru La (5260 M) and enjoy panoramic views while look back for Kang Yatse peak , front looking Indus river before a steep descending to the next camp site at Chuskyurmo. Overnight stay in Camp (Walking 5-6 hrs)

Day 12 - Today after breakfast follow the trail ascending towards the Gyuncho La (4600 M). Enjoy view from the top of surrounding mountains before trek descend towards the Shang Phu camp site. Overnight stay in Camp. (Walking 6-7 hrs)

Day 13 - Today you will see the unexplored trails in this region while ascending up to Shang La (4,800m) and spend some time on top before trek continue trek while descending to the Tokpo River for lunch. After lunch the trek goes further downhill to the camp at Gangpoche camp site. Overnight stay in Camp. (Walking 6 hrs)

Day 14 - Today after breakfast the trail will lead you to climb Matho La (4850m) . From top the trek goes downhill to the base camp near melted water streams. Overnight stay in Camp.(Walking 6-7 hrs)

Day 15 - The morning is free to relax or preparations for climbing and little exploration at Base camp. Today evening early dinner and go to sleep for some time before you start climbing during mid-night. Stay in camp

Day 16 - A long and challenging day to climb to Stok Kangri and return to base camp. Overnight Camp

Day 17 - Easy spectacular walk down to the Stok village. Enjoy lunch at end trek point before transfer to Leh. Evening free to walk around in the Leh Bazar and enjoy celebration dinner. Overnight stay in Hotel.

Day 18 - Today we have an early morning transfer to the airport for the flight back to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, we transfer to our hotel. The rest of the day is free for individual sightseeing or last-minute shopping.

Flying in from Delhi to the Ladakhi capital of Leh, the shapely peak of Stok Kangri (6,120m) - the goal of our tour - is prominent on the southern skyline. We spend three days in acclimatization to the high altitude, exploring Leh and the colourful Buddhist monasteries that surround it – at Matho, Thiksey and Hemis.
The trek begins with a hike through the Markha Valley, and then leads through several remote and picturesque villages to the high Nimaling Plain below the imposing peak of Kang Yatze. After trekking up to the Kongmaru La we take a little-used high-level route to Stok Kangri base camp, a two-day approach to the mountain that boasts of superbly located campsites and far-reaching views towards Tibet and the eastern Karakoram Range. Although objectively very safe and technically straightforward, involving easy-angled scree and snow slopes, yet the climb on Stok Kangri is both challenging and supremely rewarding. After descending to Stok we return to Leh for some well-earned relaxation.
