Overview
A challenging and extremely rewarding journey by bike, crossing five passes including the world’s 2nd highest, pass Tanglang La (5,360 metres). This carefully planned itinerary combines spectacular scenery, a great variety of landscapes and rich cultural interest to give a fabulous experience of India’s this beautiful Himalayan region.

Day 1 - Arrive in Delhi, the national capital of India, the city which is as historic as modern. After clearing immigration and customs formalities; proceed towards the arrival hall, where you will be greeted by our office representative. He will assist you to the vehicle and will take you to the Delhi Hotel. There are no activities planned for the first day, so simply relax at the Hotel and recover your energy levels.

Day 2 - Early-morning transfer to the New Delhi railway station to board train for Chandigarh. Arrival Chandigarh and drive through winding mountain roads to the old market town of Mandi for an overnight stay. Overnight stay in Hotel (190 Kms / 6-7 hrs)

Day 3 - After early breakfast we drive to Manali alongside of the Beas River and reach before noon to Manali the famous tourist hill station. Overnight stay in Hotel. (107 Kms / 3 ½ hrs)

Day 4 - This morning after breakfast visit to Hadimba Devi Temple before we start first warm up cycle ride to Naggar Castle and late afternoon return to Manali. Evening is free. Overnight stay in Hotel (Ride 20 + 20 kms / 2 hrs)

Day 5 - Today we start our main biking on one of the classic cycle routes in the world, climbing right from Manali through the flower-filled valleys and cedar and fir forests, passing through many villages before arrive Marhi. Overnight stay in Camp (Ride 36 kms / 4-5 hrs)

Day 6 - Marhi – Tandi (3,000m) over Rohtang Pass (3,979m) (Cycling 76 kms;6-7 hrs) Today we cycle from Marhi climbing up to Rohtang La and then cycle down all the way to Tandi where we camp overnight. Overnight stay in Camp (Ride 76 kms/ 6-7 hrs)

Day 7 - Today after breakfast we start our cycling to Keylong and continue to Jispa through the narrow valley. Overnight stay in Camp (Ride 30 kms / 4-5 hrs)

Day 8 - Today morning after breakfast we cycle through beautiful green pastureland to Darcha enjoy a cup of tea here before continuing cycling towards Patseo . Overnight stay in Camp. (Ride 32 kms / 4-5 hrs)

Day 9 - Today have a healthy breakfast as being a hard day cycling for Sarchu over Baralacha La Pass (4850m). The later part of the ride is downhill and very enjoyable until you reach Sarchu. Overnight stay in Camp. (Ride 53 kms / 6-7 hrs)

Day 10 - Today we have another hard day of cycling as we have to cross Nakee La pass (4800 m) and Lachalung La Pass (5100 m) before we reach an extremely cold place at Pang. Overnight stay in Camp. (Ride 80 kms / 7-8 hrs)

Day 11 - Today cycling will take you initially a steep ascent to reach at More plains and continue on cycling on a plain flat deserted no man’s land about 40 kms before you take right turn to Tsokar camp site which is further about 6 kms more in Rupshu Valley. Overnight stay in Camp (Ride 57 kms / 4-5 hrs)

Day 12 - This morning we leave Tsokar behind and ride towards the India’s 2nd highest motor-able pass Tanglang La (5,360 m). Later it is all downhill to our next camp at Rumtse. Overnight stay in Camp. (Ride 55 kms / 5-6 hrs)

Day 13 - Today is another long day cycling to Leh via Upshi. We visit Hemis and Thiksey monasteries enroute and shall pass through Shey and Choglamsar villages before arriving to Leh. Overnight stay in Hotel. (Ride 76 kms / 5-6 hrs)

Day 14 - After leisure breakfast visit Shanti Stups, Leh Palace and Leh bazar and afternoon explore Leh town by your own. Overnight stay in Hotel Optional cycling to Khardung La (5,603 M). To complete this incredible ride to world’s highest motor-able pass Khardung La (5,603m) which is also called the gateway to Nubra Valley. ( Ride 39 kms one way / 4hrs)

Day 15 - Early morning transfer to Leh airport to board flight for Delhi and on arrival transfer to Hotel for wash n change before transfer you to International airport for you onward respective destinations.

More Information
Our tour begins in Delhi, from where we drive north into the mountains. Our first stop is Mandi, an old trading center at the entrance of the lush Kullu valley – the start of the Himalayan foothills. We spend two nights further up the valley in the laid-back town of Manali, taking a gentle bike ride to acclimatize while exploring the local sights.
For the next ten days we cycle each day with some long and challenging rides as we ascend into the high Himalaya. Accommodation is a mix of camps and hotels. The first pass to cross is the Rohtang La (3,970 metres) that leads us into the semi-arid Lahaul valley. From Lahaul we head over the Baralacha La (4,850 metres), the point at which the route crosses the main Himalayan range, to arrive in Zanskar.
The scenery becomes more barren as we cross the Nakee La (4,800 metres) and Lachulung La (5,100 metres) and arrive on the Changthang plateau. We camp at the high altitude Tsokar Lake close to Tibetan Changpa nomads, amid staggering scenery. Next we cross our final pass, Tanglang La (5,360 meters), to reach the enchanting Ladakhi capital of Leh. Over the course of our tour, the scenery changes from verdant deodar forests and flower-filled valleys to barren lunar landscapes with towering icy peaks.
From Leh we have an option to ake a day-ride to Khardung La, the highest motor-able pass in the world. Over the course of our tour, the scenery changes from verdant deodar forests and flower-filled valleys to barren lunar landscapes with towering icy peaks.
Alongside this natural splendor, the old Buddhist culture of Ladakh provides rich cultural interest. We explore the long history, religion and traditions of this remote land and its people by visiting villages, small towns and their tranquil temples and monasteries perched high on cliff-tops.
