Overview
Deep in the heart of the Himalayas is the spectacular 'Valley of Flowers'- a beautiful meadow located at an altitude of 3500 metres. Discovered in 1931 by Frank Smythe, the Valley of Flowers turns into a riot of colours in the months of August and September with over a thousand varieties of flowers, shrubs, orchids and plants carpeting the valley in myriad hues and differing textures. With its diverse flora and fauna and dazzling snow-capped peaks around, the 'Valley of Flowers' is a naturalist’s heaven and a trekker's delight. A four-day trek discovers this UNESCO World Heritage Site and National Park in its entire dazzle.

Day 1 - Arrive in Delhi, the national capital of India, the city which is as historic as modern. After clearing immigration and customs formalities; proceed towards the arrival hall, where you will be greeted by our office representative. He will assist you to the vehicle and will take you to the Delhi Hotel. There are no activities planned for the first day, so simply relax at the Hotel and recover your energy levels or depending upon your flight schedules we can plan some. Stay Overnight in Delhi.

Day 2 - This morning after breakfast drive to Rishikesh situated on the banks of the Ganges. Arrive in the afternoon and check in to hotel. Rishikesh is known the birth place of yoga and the gateway of the four major Dhams (Pilgrimage sites). Evening free to explore this religious town. Overnight Hotel (240 kms / 6-7 hrs)

Day 4 - This morning a short transfer about 20 kms to Govindghat trek start point and trek down to Ghangaria - the base point for the Valley of Flowers. Reach Ghangaria late in the afternoon. Rest of the day is free to relax or to explore the area. Overnight basic hotel/lodge (Walking 13 kms / 3-4 hrs)

Day 5 - After breakfast leave for valley of flowers (3 kms one side trek). A beautiful meadow covered with a carpet of flowers of myriad colors and surrounded by the dazzling snow-clad Himalayas. In the afternoon take same route and return to Ghangaria. Overnight basic Hotel / Lodge

Day 6 - After breakfast start trek to Hemkund Sahib (4329 M) – a revered Sikh Shrine on the banks of Holy Lake. The 6-kms trek to Hemkund Sahib is a steep climb along with the Laxman Ganga River which emanates from Hemkund. After visiting Hemkund Lake return to Ghangaria by evening. ( Walking 6 + 6 kms) Overnight basic hotel / lodge
