Day 1 - Arrive in Cochin, major port city located on the south-west coast of India. After clearing immigration and customs formalities; proceed towards the arrival hall, where you will be greeted by our office representative. He will assist you to the vehicle and will take you to the Cochin Hotel. There are no activities planned for the first day, so simply relax at the Hotel and recover your energy levels or depending upon your flight schedules we can plan some. Stay Overnight in Cochin.

Day 2 - Morning explore Cochin. Tour begins with a visit to Fort Kochi area. The true character of the town is found in the old Fort Cochin area. It is unchanged for 1000 years. Visit St. Francis CSI Church, the oldest European church in India built in 1503, Follow your local journey with a tuk-tuk ride, one of the most popular mode of transport among the locals. Continue through the small streets of Mattancherry, we visit Mattancherry Palace, built by the Portuguese as a gift for the king of Kochi, Jewish Synagogue, Spice market, where the air is filled with the pungent smell of spices. Evening, enjoy a cultural Dance show - Kathakali.

Day 3 - In the morning drive to Munnar, a beautiful hill station located approximately 1,600 meters above sea level in the Western Ghats, is a beautiful hill station and famous for its tea plantations. The town is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams Mudrapauzha, Naliathani and Kundala. With its rolling hills, sparkling waterfalls, tea plantations and picture-postcard hamlets, the area is perfect for some leisurely hiking. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Day 4 - After breakfast, proceed to the tiny village where you’ll begin a trek accompanied by a local guide. The trail begins with a gradual ascent through tea plantations, before climbing into the Seven Malai hills. Walk through cardamom and coffee plantations to reach the top, where you’ll be rewarded with amazing views of peaks, lakes and villages. Once your trek is over, return to the hotel. Later in the afternoon visit to a Tea Museum, set up by Tata Tea in 2005, and chronicle the journey to tea from plants.

Day 5 - In the morning, we drive to Thekkady where we enter the state of Kerala. The drive is spectacular as the road climbs through the Western Ghats and commands fantastic views across Tamil Nadu. We arrive in the small bustling village of Thekkady and check into the hotel. Later enjoy a Guided spice plantation tour. Spice gardens and plantations are abundant here and the tour is all about explaining the history, growth and development of wonder spices like, cardamom and pepper, vanilla, coffee, tea.

Day 6 - Thekkady is a major spice growing area. Early morning we will leave for guided jungle walk in the Periyar National park to admire its abundant birdlife – kingfishers, storks and horn-bills. The forests feature plenty of bird life and arboreal animals like giant squirrel and Nilgiri langur. Evening, enjoy boat ride at Periyar Lake and experience panoramic view of forest-clad hills reflected on the lake.

Day 7 - After breakfast drive to Alleppey, also known as Alappuzha, the town is a principal center for backwater cruises in Kerala. Board our houseboats and begin our cruise along the backwaters of Kerala; one of the highlights of the trip. These charming boats are decorated and made into comfortable cruise vessels. We wander along the waterways edged by lush tropical vegetation, catching glimpses of dazzling tropical birds and watching peaceful villages. Our overnight stay is on the boats in the middle of the famous Vembanad Lake.

Day 8 - Morning, dis-embark at Alleppey and drive to Mararikulam, a beach village situated in the district of Alappuzha, has a very beautiful beach known as Marari Beach or Mararikulam beach. It offers endless miles of superb sand beaches and coconut trees. Enjoy the sunset at Marari beach. Stay overnight in Hotel

Day 9 - Spend quality time at the Marari Beach on your own pace. Day at Leisure, today relax at the beach or you may have an option to go for some Ayurveda massage. Many other interesting activities around are also available. Plan a bicycle tour to the nearby villages where people make hand spun coir, experience the arts and crafts at the village markets or stop by a beach side eatery to sample the spicy fresh fish menu that Marari is famous for!
